Universitas Meiji
Universitas Meiji (明治大学; Meiji Daigaku; Meidai) adalah salah satu dari dua universitas swasta paling prestisius di Jepang (satunya lagi adalah Universitas Waseda) sementara dua universitas negeri paling prestisius adalah Universitas Keio dan Universitas Rikkyo. Meiji terletak di daerah Kandasurugadai di Tokyo.

Meiji didirikan oleh seorang terpelajar bernama Tatsuo Kishimoto, Kozo Miyagi Misao Yashio pada 1881, dan menjadi universitas penuh pada 1903.
Universitas memiliki sembilan fakultas dengan total sekitar 33.000 mahasiswa di tiga kampus di Ochanomizu di Chiyoda, Tokyo, lingkungan Izumi di Suginami, dan lingkungan Ikuta di Tama-ku, Kawasaki. Universitas ini adalah salah satu dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Budaya, Olahraga, Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (Jepang), tiga belas universitas "Global 30" Project, yang pada 2014 disebut sebagai program Universitas Super Global.[1]
