Etimologi
Etimologi dari warna aprikot (dan buah): kata yang berasal dari bahasa arab Al-birquq (itu sendiri dari bahasa yunani berikokon, akhirnya dari bahasa Latin praecoquum). Aprikot telah digunakan sebagai nama warna sejak tahun 1851.[3]
