Daftar episode Slam Dunk
Slam Dunk adalah sebuah seri anime yang diadaptasi dari manga berjudul sama karya Takehiko Inoue.[1] Ceritanya mengisahkan tentang seorang anak laki-laki bernama Hanamichi Sakuragi yang jatuh cinta pada seorang gadis bernama Haruko Akagi, dan memutuskan untuk bergabung dengan Klub Basket SMA Shohoku demi menarik perhatiannya, meskipun Haruko menyukai pemain Shohoku yang lain, Kaede Rukawa. Saat Sakuragi mulai mempelajari cara bermain basket, dia juga mulai mencintai olahraga tersebut.
Seri anime ini diproduksi oleh Toei Animation dan disutradarai oleh Nobutaka Nishizawa, dan ditayangkan pada saluran TV Asahi sejak tanggal 16 Oktober 1993 hingga 23 Maret 1996. Toei merilis seri anime ini menjadi tujuh belas DVD yang dirilis di Jepang dari tanggal 10 Desember 2004 hingga 21 Mei 2005.[2][3] Pada tahun 2008, Toei kembali merilis seri anime ini menjadi tiga boks DVD. Ketiga boks tersebut memiliki total tujuh belas cakram.[4][5][6]
Toei dan Geneon sempat memutuskan untuk merilis seri anime ini ke dalam format DVD setelah manga-nya selesai, meskipun mereka berhenti melakukannya setelah hanya merilis beberapa volume.[7][8] DVD volume 1 dirilis pada tanggal 15 Maret 2005, sedangkan volume 4 yang dirilis pada tanggal 14 Juni 2005 merupakan yang terakhir sebelum dibatalkan. Episode 1 sampai 85 disulihsuarakan (dubbing) ke dalam bahasa Inggris, sebelum produksi sulih suaranya dibatalkan. Episode 86 sampai 101 tidak pernah disulihsuarakan ke dalam bahasa Inggris, dan hanya tersedia dalam bahasa Jepang dengan subtitle bahasa Inggris.[9][10] Episode-episode dari seri anime ini juga dapat diunduh melalui layanan Direct2Drive milik IGN.[11] Toei menayangkan seri anime ini secara streaming melalui Crunchyroll. Joost juga menayangkan seri anime ini pada situs web mereka.[12] Masing-masing episode menggunakan sulih suara asli dalam bahasa Jepang, dilengkapi subtitle berbahasa Inggris.[13]
Seri anime Slam Dunk menggunakan enam lagu tema: dua lagu tema pembuka dan empat lagu tema penutup. "Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai" (君が好きだと叫びたい , terj. har. "Aku Ingin Meneriakkan 'Aku Menyukaimu'") yang dibawakan oleh Baad digunakan sebagai lagu tema pembuka untuk 61 episode perdana. "Zettai ni, Daremo" (ぜったいに 誰も , terj. har. "Pastinya, Siapapun") yang dibawakan oleh Zyyg digunakan sebagai lagu tema pembuka untuk episode 62 sampai 101. "Anata Dake Mitsumeteru" (あなただけ見つめてる , "Aku Hanya [Dapat] Melihatmu") yang dinyanyikan oleh Maki Ohguro digunakan sebagai lagu tema penutup untuk 24 episode perdana. "Sekai ga Owaru Made wa..." (世界が終るまでは… , "Sampai Dunia Berakhir...") yang dibawakan oleh Wands digunakan sebagai lagu tema penutup untuk episode 25 sampai 49. "Kirameku Toki ni Torawarete" (煌めく瞬間に捕われて , "Tertangkap dalam Momen Ajaib Ini") yang dibawakan oleh Manish digunakan sebagai lagu tema penutup untuk episode 50 sampai 81, sedangkan "My Friend" (マイ フレンド , Mai Furendo) yang dibawakan oleh Zard digunakan sebagai lagu tema penutup untuk episode 82 sampai 101.[1] Musiknya diciptakan oleh Takanobu Masuda. Tiga soundtrack CD diterbitkan selama penayangan seri anime ini di Jepang.[14][15]
