Jean Genet
Jean Genet (bahasa Prancis: [ʒɑ̃ ʒənɛ]; (19 Desember 1910 – 15 April 1986) adalah novelis, dramawan, penyair, eseis, dan aktivis politik berkebangsaan Prancis. Awal kehidupannya adalah seorang pengembara dan pelaku kriminal kecil-kecilan, tetapi kemudian dia memilih menjadi seorang penulis. Karya-karya utamanya antara lain novel Querelle of Brest, The Thief's Journal, and Our Lady of the Flowers, dan naskah drama The Balcony, The Blacks, The Maids and The Screens.[1][2]
