Wadah pemikir (Bahasa Inggris: think tank) adalah suatu organisasi, lembaga, perusahaan, atau kelompok, yang melakukan riset, umumnya didanai oleh klien pemerintah atau komersialnya, dalam bidang strategi sosial atau politik, teknologi, dan persenjataan. Istilah ini mulai dipergunakan sejak 1950-an dan awalnya digunakan untuk merujuk pada organisasi yang memberikan nasihat dalam bidang militer.
