Kehidupan pribadi
Pada tanggal 25 Januari 2016, dia menikahi Sanaya Irani di Goa.[2]
Karier
Sehgal memulai karirnya sebagai model. Dia kemudian melakukan debut aktingnya dengan film tersebut Delhii Heights pada tahun 2007.
Dia membuat debut televisinya dengan Star One acara Miley Jab Hum Tum dimana dia memainkan peran utama sebagai Samrat.
Pada 2010 dia menjadi pembawa acara di Zara Nachke Dikha dan Meethi Choori No 1. Pada Februari 2011 dia berpartisipasi di Imagine TV acara Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout. Dia juga muncul di Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (2011) dan Parichay — Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka.
Pada 2012 dia mengantongi peran Siddharth Mujhse Kuch Kethi Yeh Khamoshiyaan di Star Plus. Pada 2013 dia berperan sebagai Haider Qubool Hai.[3][4]
Pada 2014 dia memainkan peran Karan di Life OK acara Tumhari Paakhi. Pada 2015 dia bermain sebagai Somendra di Sarojini - Ek Nayi Pehal berlawanan Shiny Doshi di Zee TV sampai dia keluar dari pertunjukan pada tahun 2016.[5][6]
Pada 2016 dia berpartisipasi di Box Cricket League muncul satu tim Arjun Bijlani Mumbai Tigers. Pada 2017, Malhotra berpartisipasi Nach Baliye bersama Sanaya Irani dan muncul sebagai finalis. Mohit juga terlihat sebagai Ayaan Mehta di Star Plus acara Love Ka Hai Intezaar. Pada Agustus 2020, ia muncul dalam Colors TV acara Naagin 5 sebagai Jay Mathur.[7]
