Premis
Dikisahkan oleh sebuah blog anonim "Gossip Girl" yang mahatahu, serial ini menceritakan kehidupan remaja populer penuh privilese yang tinggal di Upper East Side, Manhattan. Kisah bermula dengan kembalinya Serena van der Woodsen setelah satu tahun menghilang secara misterius. Kembalinya Serena mendapat sambutan dingin dari sahabatnya, Blair Waldorf, yang telah menggantikan posisinya. Sementara itu, ibunya Lily menyembunyikan keberadaan adiknya Eric. Serena juga bertemu Dan Humphrey, remaja yang tidak berasal dari kalangan Upper East Side, serta adik dan ayahnya: Jenny dan Rufus Humphrey. Ketika Blair mengetahui pacarnya Nate Archibald telah berselingkuh dengan Serena, rivalitas keduanya kembali muncul.
