Kompleks Qutb

Kompleks Qutb adalah sekelompok monumen dan bangunan di desa Mehrauli Delhi, India, bagian yang paling terkenalnya adalah Qutub Minar. Kompleks ini pertama kali dibangun oleh Qutb-ud-din Aybak, penguasa pertama Dinasti Slave, di kota barunya yang disebut Qila-Rai-Pithora dekat kota tua Prithivraj Chauhan. Kompleks ini ditambahi oleh banyak penguasa berikutnya, termasuk Iltutmish dan Ala ud din Khilji dan juga Britania.

Selain Qutub Minar; konstruksi penting lainnya adalah mesjid Quwwat-ul-Islam, Ala-I-Darwaza, Alai Minar dan pilar besi.

The Qutub Minar's size makes it visible from far around.	There is a wide range of architecture in the complex, some more ornate than others.	Open areas such as this are rarely free of visitors now.	Some areas of the complex contain few structures still standing.
Wildlife thrives in the ruins.	Tourists flock to the complex daily.	Parts of the complex are reminiscent of a nature reserve, with no buildings around.	The Qutb complex is home to many birds, such as these pigeons.
