Walter Kaegi
Walter Emil Kaegi (8 November 1937,[1] New Albany, Indiana - 24 Februari 2022)[2] adalah seorang sejarawan dan sarjana Sejarah Bizantium profesor sejarah di Universitas Chicago, dan Anggota Voting The Oriental Institute . Dia menerima B.A. dari Haverford College pada tahun 1959 dan gelar PhD dari Universitas Harvard pada tahun 1965. Ia dikenal karena penelitiannya pada periode dari abad ke-4 hingga ke-11 dengan minat khusus pada kemajuan Islam, interaksi dengan agama dan pemikiran, dan mata pelajaran militer.
