Hmm, while the change you made looks good, there seems to be an error when the gadget is enabled,

@Arlolra: I restored previous verdion of the gadget and only modified this line only: $content.find( 'a.image, a.mw-file-description' ).attr( 'href', function ( i, currVal ) {

Sorry, I should have investigated further. The problem seems to be with the dependencies in the definition of imagelinks[],

MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition

dependencies=jquery.mwExtension MediaWiki 1.30 removed mwExtension, it was deprecated in 1.26

So, the gadget was broken before we started making changes here. You can just remove that dependency from the definition and it should work. Also, you can restore the changes you undid if you'd like. Arlolra (bicara) 28 November 2022 20.03 (UTC)
