Ronald Harwood
Sir Ronald Harwood, CBE, FRSL (nama lahir Ronald Horwitz; 9 November 1934 – 8 September 2020) adalah seorang pengarang, pembuat drama dan penulis naskah. Ia dikenal atas drama-dramanya untuk panggung Inggris serta skenario untuk The Dresser dan The Pianist.

Kehidupan pribadi
suntingIa bersekolah di Seapoint Boys' High School di daerah Cape Town. Ia pindah ke Inggris pada tahun 1951. Pada tahun 1959, ia menikah dengan Natasha Riehle (1938–2013), seorang keturunan bangsawan Rusia. Mereka memiliki tiga anak: Antony (lahir 1960), Deborah (lahir 1963), dan Alexandra (lahir 1966).[1]
Aktor Sir Antony Sher adalah sepupunya. Ia adalah saudara dari kritikus tari Afrika Selatan Eve Borland.[2]
Harwood meninggal di rumahnya di Sussex pada 8 September 2020, pada usia 85 tahun.[3]
