Semut penjajah adalah parasit induk yang menangkap indukan dari spesies semut lainnya untuk meningkatkan jumlah pekerja dari koloninya. Setelah dimasukkan dalam sarang semut penjajah, para semut pekerja bekerja selayaknya mereka bekerja di koloni mereka sendiri.
