Orang Azerbaijani atau Orang Azeri alias Turki Azeri atau Turki Azerbaijani[23][24][25][26] (bahasa Turki Azerbaijani: Azərbaycanlılar, Azərbaycan türkləri) adalah sebuah kelompok etnis/etnik yang mendiami Iran barat laut dan Republik Azerbaijan. Mereka termasuk dalam sub-suku/sub-grup dari suku bangsa Turki. Mereka umumnya mendiami dari wilayah Kaukasus hingga Iran. Mayoritas orang Azerbaijan menganut agama Islam Syiah.[27]

Meskipun hidup terpisah akibat Perjanjian Gulistan (1813) dan Turkmenchay (1828), di mana Iran kehilangan wilayah utaranya kepada Rusia.
