Marshall Tymn

Marshall Benton Tymn (11 Desember 1937-24 Mei 2020) adalah seorang editor, akademisi, dan bibliografer fiksi ilmiah dan fantasi. Ia menerima Pilgrim Award pada 1990. Ia juga merupakan pendiri Instructors of Science Fiction in Higher Education.

Kehidupan

Tymn bekerja sebagai profesor bahasa Inggris di Eastern Michigan University dan juga merupakan letnan kolonel di kemiliteran Amerika Serikat. Tymn kemudian berhenti bekerja ketika mengalami cedera otak karena kecelakaan mobil di usia 52 tahun, yang tidak memungkinkannya bekerja lagi dan harus dirawat oleh istrinya. Tymn dikenal sebagai penulis yang humoris, hobi menonton film, dan mendengarkan musik. Tymn meninggal pada 24 Mei 2020 karena terserang penyakit radang paru-paru.
