Kim Min-jung (bulu tangkis)


Kim Min-jung (lahir 29 Juli 1986) adalah pemain bulu tangkis yang mewakili Korea Selatan.[1] Namanya terkadang dieja Kim Min-jeong. Sebagai pemain bulu tangkis, Kim fokus pada nomor ganda bersama Ha Jung-eun; bersama-sama mereka berkompetisi di Olimpiade Beijing 2008. Sebelumnya dia pernah berpasangan dengan Hwang Ji-man dan Yoo Yeon-seong di ganda campuran.

Karier

Pada Olimpiade Musim Panas 2012, Kim dan rekannya Ha Jung-eun, bersama dengan Jung Kyung-eun dan Kim Ha-na dari Korea Selatan, Wang Xiaoli dan Yu Yang dari Tiongkok, serta Meiliana Jauhari dan Greysia Polii dari Indonesia didiskualifikasi dari Olimpiade kompetisi karena "tidak mengerahkan upaya terbaik untuk memenangkan pertandingan" dan "berperilaku dengan cara yang jelas-jelas kasar atau merugikan olahraga" setelah pertandingan malam sebelumnya di mana mereka dituduh mencoba kalah untuk memanipulasi hasil imbang.[2] Kim dan rekannya Ha Jung-eun bermain melawan Meiliana Jauhari dan Greysia Polii dari Indonesia.[3] Diduga Korea meniru Tiongkok sehingga menghindari bermain melawan tim Korea lain di semifinal; Pelatih kepala Korea Sung Han-kook berkata, "Karena mereka tidak ingin bermain di semifinal melawan satu sama lain, jadi kami melakukan hal yang sama. Kami tidak ingin bermain melawan tim Korea Selatan lagi".[3][4] South Korea filed an appeal to the case, but it was rejected by the Badminton World Federation.[2]

BWF Superseries

The BWF Superseries, launched on 14 December 2006 and implemented in 2007,[5] is a series of elite badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). BWF Superseries has two level such as Superseries and Superseries Premier. A season of Superseries features twelve tournaments around the world, which introduced since 2011,[6] with successful players invited to the Superseries Finals held at the year end.
