Band heavy metal Amerika Avenged Sevenfold telah merilis delapan album studio, satu album lagu tema, satu album langsung, dua album kompilasi, dua Album mini, 24 singel, dua album video dan 29 video musik. Dibentuk di Huntington Beach, California pada tahun 1999, band ini awalnya menampilkan vokalis M. Shadows (Matthew Sanders), gitaris Zacky Vengeance (Zachary Baker), bassist Matt Wendt dan drummer The Rev (James Sullivan). Synyster Gates (Brian Haner Jr.) bergabung sebagai gitaris utama pada tahun 2001, tepat setelah grup tersebut merilis album debut mereka Sounding the Seventh Trumpet di Good Life Recordings, yang kemudian diterbitkan kembali di Hopeless Records.
