Eric Clifford Ambler OBE (28 Juni 1909 – 22 Oktober 1998) adalah seorang pengarang cerita seru Inggris, khususnya novel mata-mata, yang memperkenalkan realisme baru pada genre tersebut. Bekerja sebagai penulis skenario, Ambler menggunakan nama samaran Eliot Reed untuk buku-buku yang ditulis bersama Charles Rodda.
