Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe (Jerman untuk Swallow) merupakan pesawat tempur turbin jet pertama di dunia.[2] Me 262 dikeluarkan saat Perang Dunia II dan mulai bertempur pada tahun 1944 sebagai pesawat terbang tempur/pengebom/pengintaian berbagai peran untuk Luftwaffe. Pilot Jerman memberi julukan Sturmvogel (Stormbird), sementara Tentara Sekutu menjulukinya dengan nama Turbo atau Blow Job. Me 262 diisukan telah menghancurkan 509 kapal terbang Pihak Sekutu[3] (walaupun ada yang mengatakan lebih tinggi[4]) pihak Jerman diisukan telah kehilangan 100 Me 262.
