Open Document Format

Open Document Format atau dikenal juga sebagai Open Document atau ODF saja, merupakan file berformat XML yang digunakan sebagai standar format file terbuka pada aplikasi-aplikasi Perkantoran (Office Suite). Aplikasi tersebut diantaranya word processing, spreadsheet, presentation dan charts.

Spesifikasi

Beberapa penamaan ekstensi untuk open document format diantaranya:

• .odt untuk word processing
• .ods untuk spreadsheets
• .odp untuk presentations
• .odb untuk databases
• .odg untuk graphics
