Umberto Eco

Umberto Eco (lahir 5 Januari 1932) merupakan seorang filosofi dan novelis berkebangsaan Italia, yang menjadi terkenal saat menulis novel The Name of the Rose (Il nome della rosa) dan beberapa esai lainnya. Eco dilahirkan di Alessandria, Piedmont. Ayahnya, Giulio, merupakan ahli akuntan.
