V6 adalah grup idola Jepang yang dibentuk oleh Johnny & Associates. Grup idola ini terdiri dari 6 orang pria. Singel pertama mereka, "Music for the People" dirilis pada 1 November 1995.

V6 pernah memiliki acara televisi reguler yang diberi judul Gakkou e ikou (学校へ行こう, Mari pergi ke sekolah). Acara ini berusaha menggali bakat terpendam anak-anak sekolah dengan target pemirsa murid SMP dan SMA.

Usia anggota tertua dan anggota termuda yang terpaut 9 tahun menjadi alasan V6 dipecah menjadi 2 unit: "20th Century" (disingkat Tonisen) dan "Coming Century" (Kamisen).

Selain bernyanyi, anggota V6 tampil dalam berbagai bidang hiburan seperti menjadi bintang drama televisi, acara variety, dan sebagai bintang tamu acara radio. Unit 20th Century sering tampil di atas panggung drama musikal dan sandiwara, sedangkan unit Coming Century lebih sering membintangi drama televisi. Pemimpin grup ini, Sakamoto Masayuki, merupakan berperan dalam banyak drama musikal, seperti Footloose, Blood Brothers, dan The Boy from Oz.
