Markup Wiki

Di kolom sebelah kiri tabel berikut ini, Anda dapat melihat efek-efek apa saja yang dapat dilakukan di Wikipedia. Di kolom sebelah kanan, Anda dapat melihat bagaimana efek-efek tersebut diperoleh. Dengan kata lain, untuk membuat teks terlihat seperti apa yang terlihat di kolom sebelah kiri, ketikkan teks dalam format seperti yang ada di sebelah kanan.

Anda mungkin ingin membiarkan halaman ini terbuka di window browser yang terpisah sebagai rujukan. Jika Anda ingin mencoba melakukan sesuatu tanpa merusak apapun, lakukan di Bak pasir.

Peletakan Daftar Isi (Table of Contents/TOC)

Pada status bahasa markup wiki saat ini, adanya setidaknya empat header di sebuah halaman memicu munculnya daftar isi (TOC) di depan header pertama (atau setelah bagian perkenalan). Meletakkan __TOC__ di manapun di halaman tersebut memaksa TOC untuk muncul di bagian tersebut (daripada di bagian awal). Meletakkan __NOTOC__ di manapun di halaman tersebut memaksa TOC untuk menghilang. Lihat pula TOC ringkas untuk alfabet dan heading tahun.

Tabel

Ada dua cara untuk membuat tabel:

  • dalam markup-Wiki khusus (lihat m:Help:Table)
  • dengan elemen HTML biasa: <table>, <tr>, <td> or <th>.

NUMBEROFARTICLES adalah jumlah halaman di namespace utama yang berisi sebuah pranala dan bukan merupakan sebuah pengalih (redirect), dengan kata lain jumlah artikel, stub yang mempunyai link, dan haaman-halaman disambiguasi.

Templat

The MediaWiki software used by Wikipedia has limited support for template inclusion. This means standardized text chunks (such as boilerplate text) can be inserted into articles. For example, typing {{stub}} will appear as This article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it. when the page is saved. See Wikipedia:Template messages for the complete list. Other commonly used ones are: {{disambig}} for disambiguation pages, {{spoiler}} for spoiler warnings and {{sectstub}} like an article stub but for a section. The are many subject specific stubs e.g.: {{Geo-stub}}, {{Hist-stub}} and {{Linux-stub}}. For a complete list of stubs see Wikipedia:Template messages#Stubs.
