KRD Ekonomi Padalarang-Bandung-Cicalengka atau sebaliknya (KA Ekonomi Bandung Raya) adalah kereta api komuter yang beroperasi di wilayah Daerah Operasi 2 Bandung, Kereta api ini terdiri atas 2 rangkaian kereta api yang melayani rute Cicalengka ke Padalarang atau sebaliknya dan berhenti hampir di setiap stasiun yang dilewatinya. Kereta api ini ditarik oleh Lokomotif CC201 dan CC203 dari Dipo Lokomotif Bandung pada umumnya. Kereta api ini menggunakan kereta ekonomi hasil modifikasi eks. KRD MCW 302 serta seringkali juga menggunakan kereta ekonomi biasa pada umumnya, dimana penggunaan antara kedua jenis model kereta ekonomi ini tidak tetap pada setiap rangkaiannya.

Rangkaian

Dalam satu rangkaian KA Ekonomi terdiri dari: 1 Lokomotif - 5 atau 6 Kereta Ekonomi (K3) baik yang seperti kereta ekonomi pada umumnya atau menggunakan jenis kereta ekonomi hasil modifikasi dari eks KRD MCW 301 - 1 Kereta Pembangkit Kelas Ekonomi (KP3/KMP3) - 1 Gerbong/Kereta Aling-Aling.

Kapasitas yang ditawarkan dalam satu rangkaian kereta api ini adalah sekitar 600 kursi. Dalam penyelenggaraannya dapat melebihi 50% dari kapasitas kursi yang tersedia dalam satu rangkaian kereta api dan dijual sebagai tiket tanpa tempat duduk atau berdiri, dalam hal ini pun terdapat batasan jumlah tiket yang dijual pada setiap jadwal di stasiun keberangkatan maupun stasiun persinggahan, stasiun keberangkatan awal dibatasi kurang lebih sekitar 500 tiket dan stasiun persinggahan 50 hingga 100 tiket per jadwalnya, kebijakan ini diberlakukan dalam rangka memenuhi kenyamanan yang dibutuhkan oleh penumpang kereta api ini, serta secara hukum dalam rangka pelaksanaan Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2007 tentang Perkeretaapian.

Per 1 Januari 2013 tarif yang ditetapkan untuk Kereta Api ini adalah Rp. 1500,- untuk jarak dekat maupun jauh.
