Cicely Tyson (19 Desember 1924 – 28 Januari 2021)[3][4] adalah aktris berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat. Namanya dinominasikan menerima penghargaan dalam Academy dan Golden Globe Awards untuk kategori Aktris Terbaik berkat penampilannya sebagai Rebecca Morgan dalam film Sounder (1972). Atas perannya itu, dia memenangi penghargaan NSFC Best Actress dan NBR Best Actress Awards. Dia membintangi The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman (1974), yang mengantarkannya memenangi dua penghargaan dari Emmy Awards dan dinominasikan dalam a BAFTA Award.[5] Selama kariernya, dia menerima nominasi sebanyak dua belas kali dalam Primetime Emmy Awards, dan menang sebanyak tiga kali.
Tahun 2011, dia tampil dalam film The Help, di mana dia menerima penghargaan atas karya bersama sebagai Constantine dari BFCA dan SAG Awards dan masuk nominasi pengganti SAG Award selama empat kali.
