D.H. Lawrence
David Herbert Richards Lawrence (11 September 1885 – 2 Maret 1930) adalah seorang novelis, penyair, kritikus sastra, dan penulis naskah Inggris.[1]

Selama hidupnya, ia telah menulis banyak novel (di antaranya berjudul Sons and Lovers, The Rainbow, Women in Love dan Lady Chatterley's Lover), cerita pendek (di antaranya The Captain's Doll, The Fox, The Ladybird, Odour of Chrysanthemums, The Princess, The Rocking-Horse Winner, St. Mawr, The Virgin and the Gypsy, dan The Woman who Rode Away), dan lebih dari 800 puisi (beberapa yang terkenal antara lain What Ails Thee?, Self-Pity, Riches, Little Fish, dan Desire Is Dead).[2][3]
