Calmecac
Calmecac ([kalˈmekak]) adalah sekolah untuk para putra bangsawan Aztek (pīpiltin [piːˈpiɬtin]) pada zaman Pasca-Klasik Akhir dari sejarah Mesoamerika, dimana mereka akan meraih pelatihan agama dan militer. dua sumber utama untuk informasi tentang calmecac dan telpochcalli berasal dari Kodeks Firenze karya Bernardino de Sahagún dari General History of the Things of New Spain (Buku III, VI, dan VIII) dan bab 3 dari Kodeks Mendoza.[1]
