James Macpherson
James Macpherson (Gaelik: Seumas MacMhuirich atau Seumas Mac a' Phearsain; 27 Oktober 1736 – 17 Februari 1796) adalah seorang penulis, penyair, kolektor sastra dan politikus Skotlandia, yang dikenal sebagai "penerjemah" serangkaian puisi epik Ossian. Ia adalah penyair Skotlandia pertama yang meraih reputasi mancanegara.
