Friedrich Schlegel

Karl Wilhelm Friedrich (setelah 1814: von) Schlegel (/ˈʃleɪɡəl/;[7] Jerman: [ˈfʁiːdʁɪç ˈʃleːgl̩];[7][8][9] 10 Maret 1772 – 12 Januari 1829), yang biasa disebut sebagai Friedrich Schlegel, adalah seorang penyair, kritikus sastra, filsuf, filologis dan Indologis asal Jerman. Dengan kakaknya, August Wilhelm Schlegel, ia adalah salah satu figur utama dari romatis Jena. Ia adalah promoter gerakan Romantik dan menginspirasi Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Adam Mickiewicz dan Kazimierz Brodziński.
