Kerusakan reputasi (diplomasi)

Dalam diplomasi, kerusakan reputasi adalah kerusakan hubungan diplomatik suatu negara yang disebabkan oleh kejadian buruk. Buruknya penegakan hak asasi manusia^[2] dan kurangnya kepedulian terhadap negara sekutu atau mitra^[3] dapat menyebabkan kerusakan reputasi. Diplomasi Scorecard bergantung pada keinginan negara-negara untuk meminimalkan kerusakan reputasi mereka akibat buruknya kepatuhan terhadap norma-norma internasional.^[4]

Kejahatan perang Jerman di Belgia dimuat dalam propaganda anti-Jerman selama Perang Dunia I, sehingga menyebabkan kerusakan reputasi^[1]
