Kultus individu Korea Utara
Kultus individu Korea Utara mengoroti keluarga pemerintahannya, keluarga Kim,[2] telah ada di Korea Utara selama berdasawarsa-dasawarsa dan dapat ditemukan dalam banyak contoh budaya Korea Utara.[3] Meskipun tak diakui oleh pemerintahan Korea Utara, sebagian besar pembelot dan pengunjung Barat menyatakan bahwa hukuman mati sering terjadi pada orang-orang yang mengkritik atau tak menunjukkan sikap hormat "sebenarnya" kepada rezim.[4][5] Kultus individu tersebut dimulai setelah Kim Il-sung berkuasa pada 1948, dan menyebar luas setelah kematiannya pada 1994.
