Melesina Trench (née Chenevix, sebelumnya St George; 22 Maret 1768 – 27 Mei 1827) merupakan seorang penulis Irlandia, penyair dan penulis buku harian. Selama hidupnya, dia lebih dikenal karena kecantikannya daripada tulisannya, dan baru setelah putranya, Richard Chenevix Trench, menerbitkan buku hariannya pada 1861 karyanya mulai mendapat perhatian.[1] Melesina Chenevix lahir di Dublin, orang tuanya adalah Philip Chenevix dan Mary Elizabeth Gervais. Ia menjadi yatim piatu sebelum ulang tahunnya yang keempat dan ia kemudian dibesarkan oleh kakek paternalnya, Richard Chenevix (16981779), Uskup Waterford Anglikan. Keluarganya berasal dari Huguenot. Salinan sejumlah karyanya disimpan di Perpustakaan Chawton House.
