Operasi Bintang Biru

Operasi Bintang Biru adalah sebuah operasi militer India yang terjadi antara 1 Juni dan 8 Juni 1984, yang diperintahkan oleh Perdana Menteri Indira Gandhi^[1] dalam rangka merebut^[2] terhadap Kompleks Harmandir Sahib di Amritsar, Punjab, dan mengusir pemimpin relijius militan Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale dan para pengikut bersenjata militannya dari kompleks bangunan tersebut. Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale sebelumnya telah menduduki Harmandir Sahib, membentengi kompleks tersebut dan menjadikannya markas besarnya pada April 1983.^[3]
