Ortodoks Ritus Barat

Ortodoks Ritus Barat, Ortodoks Barat atau Ritus Barat Ortodoks adalah istilah yang dipakai untuk menyebut kongregasi-kongregasi yang berada dalam Gereja-gereja tradisi Ortodoks namun memakai liturgi-liturgi dari Barat atau Latin ketimbang mengadopsi liturgi-liturgi Timur seperti Liturgi Ilahi Santo Yohanes Krisostom. Meskipun ada beberapa contoh kuno dari komunitas Ritus Barat di kawasan-kawasan dominan memakai Ritus Bizantium sebelum Skisma Besar sepenuhnya terkonsolidasi (Monasteri Santa Maria dari Orang-orang Latin, sering kali disebut sebagai Amalfi, adalah contoh umum), sejarah gerakan tersebut sering kali dianggap dimulai pada abad kesembilan belas dengan kehidupan dan karya Yulianus Yosef Overbeck.
