Judul lengkap bukunya "Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial - Sejarah untuk SMP dan MTs Kelas IX" terbitan "ESIS" dengan "Standar Isi KTSP 2006". Dan juga dengan ISBN 979-734-626-9

Italia mengalami masa sulit. Ekonomi terus memburuk, kemelaratan, kesengsaraan dan pengangguran merajalela, dan pabrik- pabrik bangkut. Dalam situasi seperti ini, muncul tokoh tangan besi, Benito Mussolini yang mengikat (fascere) seluruh bangsa dengan terornya. Pada 1919, Benito Mussolini membentuk Partai Fasis yang revolusioner. Partai ini berbasis pada pengusaha, buruh, dan birokrat yang merasa terpanggil untuk menyelamatkan Italia. Pada tahun 1922, Partai Fasis memenangkan pemilu. Untuk mendesak raja agar menetapkan dirinya sebagai perdana menteri, Benito Mussolini dan para pengikutnya (sekitar 50000 orang) mengadakan long march dari Napoli ke Roma. Benito Mussolini akhirnya dilantik sebagai perdana menteri oleh Raja Victor Immanuel III. Selanjutnya, dia ,mengangkat diri sebagai Il Duce (Sang Pemimpin). Benito Mussolini menjadikan Italia hanya memiliki satu partai, yakni Partai Fasis.
