Menurut Pedoman Umum Pembentukan Istilah bagian Penyesuaian Ejaan Sufiks: -ica (Belanda), -ics (Inggris) menjadi –ika, -ik. Jadi sah saja jika tidak semua -ics menjadi -ika dan boleh -ik. •• ivanlanin ♫ 19:01, 8 Oktober 2009 (UTC)

Pusing! So, How about economics > ekonomi ? That -ik thing does NOT appear in my PUPI I bought before leaving for Germany. IMHO, biar mereka (Pusba) saja yang pusing, kita tinggal pakai apa yang sudah mereka perdebatkan, hehe. Kayaknya, semua yang berada dalam domain linguistik menggunakan akhiran -ik dan bukannya -ika deh: linguistik, fonetik, semantik. •• ivanlanin ♫ 07:33, 12 Oktober 2009 (UTC)
