Sura dari sansekerta?

apa ada referensi dari pendapat ini, karena sepertinya lebih make sense kalau sura dari hari asyura seperti dikatakan Nurcholish Madjid disini [1]

Saya setuju. Sura dalam bahasa sanskerta berarti terang atau dewa. Sedangkan dari istilah Arab berasal dari kata assyura. Dalam hal ini saya cenderung lebih setuju kalau Sura dalam kalender Jawa berasal dari kata assyura. (125.164.132.41 05:29, 16 April 2008 (UTC))
