suntingTanggal pendirian masjid yang dimuat oleh Republika (19/12/2018) dan Kompas (28/04/2021) yakni 8 Februari 1307 M adalah terlalu tua. Pada waktu itu Sunan Gunung Jati belum dilahirkan, dan Kesultanan Banten belum berdiri. Info lain, dari karya tulis Fitra (2020; Sejarah perkembangan Masjid Al Mustofa) diketahui bahwa pengurus sekarang adalah keturunan kelima dari pendiri masjid, yang artinya masjid ini mungkin baru berusia sekitar 1 - 1,5 abad saja, dan bukan 7 abad. Sehingga diambil angka tahun yang tertera pada abstrak karya tulis Fitra, yakni 1728 M. Salam, Wie146 (bicara) 13 Juni 2022 10.37 (UTC)
