IMO circle K sama sekali bukan toko kelontong. yang dimaksud toko kelontong adalah toko tradisional yang menjualan barang apa saja. kalo convinient store mungkin cocoknya : minimarket kaya' alfamart, indomaret, dll ya.. termasuk circle K --Snydez 00:30, 29 Januari 2008 (UTC)

Toko kelontong (P&D) sepertinya hanya ada di pasar-pasar tradisional. Minimarket sepertinya dibedakan dari convenience store[1] (karena minimarket tidak menjual makanan siap saji?). Convenience store seperti 7-Eleven juga menempatkan dirinya berbeda dari toko kelontong. Menurut Direktur Utama PT Modern Putra Indonesia Hendri Honoris, "Kami tidak melihat sebagai ancaman terhadap kelontong. Produk kami berbeda, kami menjual Slurpee, Big Bite, Hotdog".[2].

Bagaimana kalau di Wikipedia convenience store diterjemahkan sebagai toko kenyamanan? Istilah ini sudah dipakai oleh merdeka.com[3] dan di skripsi(?)[4]. Kalau tidak setuju ya tidak apa-apa. Nanti mungkin ada istilah baru lainnya. Midori (bicara) 18 Mei 2013 02.02 (UTC)
