Templat ini merupakan gabungan dari en:Template:Country data Great Britain dan en:Template:Country data United Kingdom, maka dari itu interwikinya ada dua. Di en.wiki entitas yang sama ini dipisah Country datanya karena alasan historis/teknis. GBR, menurut informasi di templatnya, digunakan untuk yang berhubungan dengan olahraga, sementara untuk yang non-olahraga menggunakan UK. Karena pembagian tersebut tidak ada di bahasa Indonesia, maka dari itu keduanya digabungkan.

Both the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) use GBR as the three-letter country code for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. However, the two-letter country code UK is a very frequent abbreviation for the United Kingdom. Consequently, Template:Country data GBR is the alias redirect for this template (matching the sport-related usage), and Template:Country data UK is the alias redirect for the "United Kingdom" template.
