As written on User:MGA73 I try to make sure that all files on id.wikipedia have a valid license. If possible I will copy free files to Commons.

This page contain tips and info about the progress. Atm. there are 55.474 files:

• Free files (Kategori:Semua media bebas): 13.480 files (Click to see who uploaded)
• All media requiring a US status confirmation (Kategori:All media requiring a US status confirmation): 16 files (PD in home country but not sure it is in the US)
• Non-free files (Kategori:Semua media nonbebas): 39.896 files
• Files with no license: (Kategori:Files with no license) 261 (436 per May 19, 2023, 1,201 per February 2, 2023, and 3.443 per May 29, 2020))

The reason the numbers does not match the total is

1. Some files do not have a license template
2. Some license templates do not put files in one of the 2 categories
3. Some files are in both categories. For example a photo of a statue. The statue is non-free but the photographer placed the photo under a free license.

Problematic licenses:
