Prestasi

Fiennes berlatih di Akademi Seni Drama Kerajaan dan kemudian mengikuti Serikat Royal Shakespeare pada tahun 1988. Fiennes mulai berkarier pada tahun 1992 sebagai Heathcliff dalam Wuthering Heights bersama Juliette Binoche. Namun, setahun kemudian ia mulai dikenal setelah berperan sebagai komandan perkemahan Nazi, Amon Göth, dalam film yang disutradarai oleh Steven Spielberg, Schindler's List.

Pada tahun 1994, dia berperan sebagai akademik Amerika, Charles Van Doren dalam Quiz Show, dan pada tahun 1996, dia dicalonkan untuk kategori Aktor Terbaik di Academy Awards dalam film epik romantis The English Patient.
