Sung Hoon
Sung Hoon (terlahir sebagai Bang In-kyu pada 14 Februari 1983) adalah aktor Korea Selatan.[1] Sung merupakan anggota tim nasional renang dan mengkhususkan diri pada gaya kupu-kupu. Ia bergabung dengan tim tersebut selama 14 tahun namun harus berhenti karena cedera tulang belakang. Ia kemudian mendaftar pada wajib militer, tetapi cedera yang sama membuatnya dipulangkan lebih awal.[2] Sung memulai debutnya sebagai aktor pada tahun 2011 dengan New Tales of Gisaeng, mendapatkan peran utama walau tidak memiliki pengalaman modeling atau peran.

Karier
suntingPeran Sung Hoon yang menarik perhatian adalah dalam drama romantis supernatural, New Tales of Gisaeng.[3] Penampilannya dalam drama ini membuatnya menerima SBS Acting Award sebagai Aktor Baru Terbaik pada tahun 2011.
Pada tahun 2012, dia berperan dalam drama Tiongkok pertamanya, The Bodyguard.[4] The same year, he featured in historical drama Faith, memainkan peran antagonis.[5][6] Kemudian pada tahun yang sama, ia berperan dalam drama harian, The Birth of a Family.[7]
Pada tahun 2013, Sung membintangi peran utama dalam drama akhir pekan, Passionate Love.[8] Pada tahun 2014, Sung membintangi drama web 6 Persons Room, di mana dia memainkan pengusaha sukses yang menderita cedera dan menemukan dirinya di rumah sakit yang dikelilingi oleh pasien aneh.[9]
Pada tahun 2015, ia membintangi drama web Noble, My Love,[10] dan tampil dalam serial komedi romantis SBS Oh My Venus, memainkan petinju profesional.[11]
Sung juga seorang musisi Disc jockey, dan melakukan kegiatan DJ dengan nama ROI. Sung telah tampil di berbagai negara seperti Tiongkok, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapura dan Indonesia.[12]
Pada tahun 2016, Sung kembali ke layar kecil Korea dengan drama akhir pekan KBS Five Enough, memainkan model yang kemudian menjadi pegolf profesional.[13][14]
Pada tahun 2017, Sung membintangi drama komedi romantis My Secret Romance, di mana dia memainkan chaebol generasi kedua.[15] Dia kemudian memainkan produser perusahaan hiburan di The Idolmaster KR, yang didasarkan pada permainan video The Idolmaster Jepang.[16] Pada tahun yang sama, Sung berperan dalam film roman fantasi Are You in Love? beradu peran dengan Kim So-eun.[17][18]
Pada tahun 2018, film aksi debut Sung Brothers in Heaven dirilis pada Januari. Ia berperan bersama Jo Han-sun sebagai kembar fraternal.[19][20] Dia juga berperan di musim kedua sitkom, The Sound of Your Heart.[21][22]
