Tenaga kerja global mengacu pada persediaan angkatan kerja internasional, termasuk orang-orang yang dipekerjakan oleh perusahaan multinasional dan terhubung melalui sistem jaringan global dan produksi, pekerja imigran, pekerja migran sementara, pekerja telekomuter, orang-orang yang terlibat dalam pekerjaan berorientasi ekspor, pekerjaan kontingen, atau pekerjaan berbahaya.[1] Per 2012, persediaan angkatan kerja global mencapai kurang lebih 3 miliar orang, 200 juta di antaranya menganggur.[2]
