The Darkness adalah band rock asal Inggris yang pernah memenangkan sejumlah penghargaan-BRIT Award-winning British dalam kategori band hard rock. Gaya musik retro yang mereka usung dipengaruhi oleh band rock seperti Queen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Sparks, Van Halen, T. Rex, 38 Special, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Boston dan Thin Lizzy. Mereka terkenal dengan gaya bernyanyi sang vokalis Justin Hawkins yang memiliki karakter suara falsetto, sang vokalis telah keluar dari band pada tahun 2006, yang menyebabkan band ini bubar.
