Yueh Hua

Yueh Hua (Hanzi: 岳華; Pinyin: Yuè Huá; 13 Juli 1942 – 20 Oktober 2009) adalah seorang aktor dan seniman beladiri asal Hong Kong. Ia telah bermain di ratusan film sejak tahun 1990 an hingga akhir hayatnya.

Biografi
suntingYueh lahir pada 30 Juli 1942 di Shanghai, China dengan nama lahir Leung Lok-wah dari keturunan suku Kanton.[1] Yueh beremigrasi ke Hong Kong pada tahun 1962 setelah ia lulus kuliah dari Shanghai Conservatory of Music, dan bergabung dengan Shaw Brothers Studio serta memulai karir aktingnya pada tahun 1963.[2]
Film pertama yang Yueh bintangi berjudul Come Drink with Me tahun 1966, dimana ia memerankan peran utama.[3] Akan tetapi, nama Yueh semakin populer karena perannya dalam film Looking Back in Anger, salah satu acara TVB yang populer. Setelah penampilan terakhirnya di layar pada tahun 1989, ia pindah ke Kanada pada 1990-an, di mana ia menjadi pembawa acara untuk radio Cina Vancouver CHMB.[4]

Wafat
suntingPada tanggal 20 Oktober 2009, Yueh meninggal dunia di Vancouver, British, Columbia, Kanada akibat penyakit yang ia derita.[18][19]
