Skala [[Binet-Simon]] akhirnya menjadi dasar bagi perkembangan tes IQ modern. Pada tahun 1916, [[Lewis Terman]] di [[Amerika Serikat]] mengadaptasi dan memodifikasi skala ini menjadi tes [[Stanford-Binet]], yang menjadi salah satu tes IQ paling terkenal dan sering digunakan.
