As written on User:MGA73 I try to make sure that all files on id.wikipedia have a valid license. If possible I will copy free files to Commons.

This page contain tips and info about the progress. Atm. there are 59.080 files:

• Free files (Kategori:Semua media bebas): 13.436
• Non-free files (Kategori:Semua media nonbebas): 43.090
• Files with no license: (Kategori:Files with no license) 247 (3.443 per May 29))
  • And this query too

The reason the numbers does not match the total is

1. Some files do not have a license template
2. Some license templates do not put files in one of the 2 categories
3. Some files are in both categories. For example a photo of a statue. The statue is non-free but the photographer placed the photo under a free license.

• A tool to make a list of files also on commons. You can use it by clicking here (tag them and then they end up in Kategori:Berkas Wikipedia di Wikimedia Commons)

• Special:UnusedFiles was 448 files

A few links to start check for "bad files":

• Unused files (often unused files should just be deleted: Special:UnusedFiles
• Files with duplicates (delete so only 1 version is left): Special:ListDuplicatedFiles
