Kepulauan Inggris adalah sebuah kelompok pulau di Samudera Atlantik Utara di lepas pantai barat laut dari Eropa daratan, terdiri atas pulau Great Britain, Ireland, Isle of Man, Hebrides Dalam dan Luar, Kepulauan Utara (Orkney dan Shetland), dan lebih dari enam ribu pulau-pulau kecil.^[8] Kepulauan ini memiliki luas 315.159 km² (121.684 sq mi)^[5] dan populasi gabungan hampir 72 juta, dan terdapat dua negara berdaulat, yaitu Republik Irlandia (mencakup lima per enam Ireland),^[9] dan Kerajaan Inggris. Kepulauan Channel, di lepas pantai utara dari Perancis, biasanya termasuk sebagai Kepulauan Inggris,^[10] meskipun secara geografis tidak membentuk bagian kepulauan tersebut.^[11] Di bawah UK Interpretation Act 1978, Kepulauan Channel dijelaskan sebagai bagian pembentuk British Islands,^[12] yang berbeda dari Kepulauan Inggris.
