Paul Claudel
Paul Claudel (bahasa Prancis: [pɔl klɔdɛl]; 6 Agustus 1868 – 23 Februari 1955) adalah seorang penyair, dramatis dan diplomat Perancis, dan adik dari pemahat Camille Claudel. Claudel dinominasikan untuk Penghargaan Nobel Kesusastraan dalam enam tahun yang berbeda.[1]

Biografi
Ia mula-mula menjadi wakil konsul di New York (April 1893), dan kemudian di Boston (Desember 1893). Ia menjadi konsul Perancis di China (1895–1909), termasuk konsul di Shanghai (Juni 1895), dan wakil konsul di Fuzhou (Oktober 1900), konsul di Tianjin (Tientsin) (1906–1909), di Praha (Desember 1909), Frankfurt am Main (Oktober 1911), Hamburg (Oktober 1913), ministre plénipotentiaire di Rio de Janeiro (1916), Copenhagen (1920), duta besar di Tokyo (1922–1928), Washington, D.C. (1928–1933) dan Brussels (1933–1936).
