Lewis Wallace (10 April 1827 – 15 Februari 1905) adalah seorang pengacara, jenderal Union dalam Perang Saudara Amerika, gubernur Teritorial New Mexico, politikus, diplomat, dan pengarang asal Indiana, Amerika Serikat. Diantara novel-novel dan biografi-biografinya, Wallace dikenal karena cerita petualangan sejarahnya, Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1880), sebuah novel berpenjualan terbaik yang disebut "buku Kristen paling berpengaruh dari abad kesembilan belas."[1]
